Why do I bother buying toys?

The other night, I'm fixing spaghetti for the four year old. She had gotten into the box and had some on the kitchen table. I picked it up and brought it over to the stove.

She gasps, "Mom, why did you do that?"

"I'm going to put it in the pot."

"But that's Aslan. And he wasn't on the move yet."

Yes, she was playing Narnia with spaghetti.

May the muses have good noodles

Honey, you've been blessed with a kid with a great imagination! That's awesome!
This is not a child who'll stare at tv or play video games like a zombie. This is good.
A writer in the works. ;-)

Awww! too cute! To Narnia and the North! yup definitely a great imagination!and yes toys at times seem a waste. when boxes become cribs and houses for dolls i wonder why i shelled out money for the barbie house or the fancy graco doll accesories.

Here's Wishing that they keep their rich imagination

LOL I wasn't really fussing. It made me chuckle. But I do wonder why I worry about getting them toys.

Raine, I'd love it if they became writers *G*.

Mo, I really hope they keep their imagination. It's so neat.
