Know what these are? Black eyed peas. My Mom was a firm believer in eating them on New Year's Day for luck. I wondered how many people out there abide by that tradition? Chime in, let me know if you eat black eyed peas for luck on New Years.

No, I HATE peas, lol.
But having relatives from the South, I'm very familiar with the tradition.

I think it's more of a Southern US thing, Feyrhi. And yes, I think any consumption of black eyed peas counts *G*.
