A tisket, a tasket, a new release in my basket! (and hopefully yours!)

I'm so so so excited. Whoo hooo! Settler's Mine 5: The Man is available. Don't you love that cover?

Blurb: Colton returns to Settler’s Mine searching for his mate who he’d abandoned years before. He’d been on his way earlier, but once he and Larkin mated, they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves and it delayed his trip.

Michipi has made a new life for herself at Settler’s Mine and doesn’t want to trust Colton again, no matter how sincere he seems. Especially with his new mate receiving all the perks of the heartstone glow that she never got.

While Michipi enjoys being the subject of being two men’s desires and what they have to offer, however good they both are she can’t get past Colton’s past betrayal and denies the future of their mating. When an old enemy resurfaces to make an attempt on Colton's life, Michipi is forced to realize that she needs both men in her life. But has the knowledge come too late, and at too high a cost?

Friday Five--Christmas Edition a few of my favorite things

1. Happy Holidays! I hope you have a great time, no matter what holiday you celebrate!
2. One of my favorite holiday specials, the Muppet Family Christmas, has a cameo by Jim Henson.

3. Of course...A Charlie Brown Christmas is another favorite!

4. My kids refer to him as "the man with all the lights." We love visiting this house! Over 170,000 lights with many homemade items on disply. Check out the photos here.

5. May your days be merry and bright. If you want, may you have a snowy holiday. Or balmy.

May the muses have muppets!

Friday Five

1. I love love love this time of year! Wheee. It's been super busy. Last weekend went well. The cookies were good. We enjoyed doing the Living Nativity as usual. The lion roared on cue *G*. The recitals were awesome. Youngest messed up a little but she covered it well. One of the administrators where we do lessons said seeing oldest playing guitar prompted another girl to say she wanted guitar lessons.

2. We could get SNOW! For us, quite a bit--4-7 inches. Yes, I live in a place that that amount of snow will shut down. We've not gotten a lot of snow in the past few years so naturally everyone is running to the grocery store to buy milk. The western parts of my state could have a record breaker with TWO feet. I'm hoping it comes. Otherwise, I'll have some very disappointed children.

3. The interesting thing about this snow is that it does have the potential to hang around for a while. Depends on a number of factors. LOL but I'm crossing fingers for a white Christmas.

4. I'm getting caught up on Dollhouse on my DVR. We missed taping a few episodes but the ones we did were very good. Alan Tudyk just rocks. And the actor who plays Victor, I've decided he really is a chameleon and can play anyone. He's one of the best I've seen.

5. When cats are cold they will do anything to stay warm. Climb on people. Lay on anything. It's kind of funny. They can sleep anywhere. Some days, I really want to be a cat...

May the muses have snow

Friday Five

1. Proofing edits went back on The Man. Gear up release! I can't wait.

2. This weekend is just pure crazy. Cookie exchange with oldest's girl scout troop tomorrow night. Recitals Saturday morning, one guitar, the other piano. Doing the Living Nativity at a local church Saturday afternoon. Sunday has a cookie exchange with youngest's girl scout troop. Oldest has her girl scout troop meeting and an awards assembly. Then we do the Living Nativity again. LOL on Monday, I'm going to need a nap.

3. Writing is slowly getting back to snuff. I've had a hard time of it. The hecticness of the season doesn't help. Although I love the season so can't complain!

4. LOL guess what I've been doing? Playing a game where you name all the countries of the world. I'm at about 150 something out of 195. I'd like to get up to where I only miss about 10 or so. I'm good with Europe and Asia. Need to get Oceania, Africa, North America, and South America a little better. Definitely helping my geography.

5. I watched last week's Castle over last weekend and said, "This is the best episode yet." Watched Monday night's episode, and said, "This is the best episode yet!" I'm really loving how smart this show is. They don't introduce anything without it meaning something. I love that. I have the first season rented. Now to find time to watch...

Friday Five

1. Very light writing week. I seem to be having trouble getting butt in chair and fingers on keys. I'm not bagging this week but really really hope to do better next week.

2. Did finish up some revisions asked for by the editor to Another Dream, Another Reality. Yay me!

3. I also finished up decking my halls! I had lots of help this year so the decorations totally rock. I also sent off all my out of state and out of country packages. Another yay me!

4. Today, went to Greek and Roman festival at school with youngest. Got to touch a rock from the Parthenon. It gave me chills. Told youngest, "You just touched history."

5. Going to the Nutcracker ballet tomorrow night. Get to get dressed up and everything. I love the music and the dancing.
